When you don’t have a tripod outdoor, sometimes you just have to take photos with the best setting you could adjust against harsh sunlight. You could recover some over-exposed areas in Adobe Lightroom but the software has its own limitation. I always say there is no magic in post-production if you don’t shoot correctly. Nevertheless, Adobe Lightroom does amazing jobs and the final output looks much better than the original photo. Depending on what you are telling the story, the over-exposed photos could be creatively used.
